Each walk takes place in a beautiful park or natural area, offering great birding and a chance to connect with fellow birders and nature lovers.

We also offer private bird walks for homeschool groups, organizations, and local businesses looking for a more personalized experience.

Our free bird walks in Charleston, South Carolina are typically held on the third Saturday of each month (no walk in December), with additional walks added throughout the year.
Locations often rotate between Charleston parks including West Ashley Park, Hampton Park, Carr-Richardson Park, West Ashley Greenway, Brittlebank Park, Governors Park, and Mulberry Park—along with occasional additional locations throughout the area.
Many of our free bird walks are offered in partnership with the Charleston Parks Conservancy, a leading organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing Charleston’s parks.
