A Special Fall Birding Opportunity
Holy City Birding is excited to offer a special small-group bird walk at Black River Cypress Preserve’s Swampside Tract during fall migration.
This opportunity began with an invitation from Jonathan Keyser of Black River Cypress Preserve to come experience the property and explore its birding opportunities. We’re incredibly grateful to Jonathan, Sarah Wilson, and the Black River Cypress Preserve team for welcoming Holy City Birding and making it possible for us to share this beautiful property with a small group from our birding community.
We’ll begin shortly after sunrise and spend approximately three hours exploring the Swampside Tract in search of migrating and resident birds.
About the Walk
The Swampside Tract includes a variety of habitats, including freshwater swamps, upland forest and a longleaf pine restoration area. We’ll explore the trail system while looking and listening for birds throughout the property.
