Beginner Birding Tour

Tour Description

New to birding? This guided experience is designed to help you get started in a relaxed and approachable way. We’ll explore beautiful Hampton Park, one of Charleston’s best locations for spotting a variety of birds in an easy, walkable setting. Along the way, you’ll learn how to find birds, use binoculars, and begin identifying common species by sight and sound. This tour moves at a comfortable pace and is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy nature while learning something new. No prior experience is needed. The walk lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and takes place on flat, easy paths throughout the park. Binoculars will be provided, and I’ll share helpful tips throughout the tour to build your confidence and skills. Each participant will receive a Holy City Birding patch.
