Tour Description

We will explore scenic areas in Charleston County that offer the most birding activity for the time of year and weather conditions. Charleston offers a great variety of habitats for birds and provides great birding opportunities all year round. There has been over 400 species of birds recorded in Charleston County! Trip will take approximately 2.5 hours. Binoculars are recommended for each participant. (Guide will have a spotting scope and an extra pair of optics to share with the group) Items to wear/bring: comfortable walking/hiking shoes, camera, and drinking water during hotter months. (Max 6 Participants)
