Tour Description

We will explore Hampton Park located on the Charleston Peninsula. This 60 acre city park has beautiful flora, mature trees and open fields. The park attracts a variety of songbirds, raptors, and a resident flock of Canada Geese. The tour will include an easy walk through the park looking and listening for a variety of birds along the flora, diverse brush and trees. Each Participant will receive a Holy City Birding Bird Patch for the current month! The Tour will be on foot and will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. We will meet and finish at the main parking lot located at 30 Mary Murray Drive. Binoculars are recommended. (Guide will have one extra pair of Binoculars to pass around) Items to wear/bring: comfortable clothing for the current weather conditions, comfortable walking shoes. (Max 6 participants)
