Santee National Wildlife Refuge Bird Walk

Join Holy City Birding & U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service for a morning Bird Walk at the Santee NWR!

We will explore this amazing refuge and the diverse birds that have begun to arrive for winter! The Bird Walk will explore the Wright's Bluff Trail and the open field habitat between Cantey Bay and Lake Marion. Partnering with U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service we will have access to respectfully explore portions of the Bluff Unit that are closed during the winter. **Note this Bird Walk will cover 2-4 miles on flat terrian also the public restrooms are closed on Sunday.

*This Bird Walk has a participation limit and requires registration. 

Meeting location: We will meet at the Visitor Center parking lot at 6:45am and then drive over to parking area near the Wright's Bluff Trail to begin the Bird Walk at 7:00am.
